Sign up forms are the most reliable way to contact visitors who are looking for your type of product or service and every potential customer who visits your website MUST BE TRACKED.
When someone visits your website you need to know who they are so that you can contact them after they visit you, This allows you to openly offer them information on your products and services until they choose not to hear from you (unsubscribe). Too many websites are open to visitors seeing what they have to offer without knowing who came and who went and not knowing how to follow up on the visitors
